Shri Gowri Shangar Hotels, established in 1989 by its visionary founder, Mr. Shankaranarayanan, boasts a rich legacy in the hospitality industry. Mr. Shankaranarayanan, hailing from an esteemed business family, embarked on his hospitality journey in Sri Lanka during the 1950s and 60s. His extensive expertise and experience have been instrumental in shaping the foundation of our institution.

Presently, the hotel is under the adept leadership of its Managing Partner and Co-Founder, Mr. S. Arul Jothi. Mr. Arul Jothi is an alumnus of the Institute of Hotel Management, Chennai (Class of 1989) and the Sainik School Amaravathi Nagar. His substantial experience, acquired through his tenure at various esteemed hotels, has played a pivotal role in the continuous growth and advancement of Shri Gowri Shangar Hotels.
